These Terms set out the rules for using the browser RPG "Krucza Wieża", registering accounts, gameplay, microtransactions, sanctions and complaints.
This is an English translation of the Polish "Regulamin Gry i Serwisu". It is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version prevails.
§ 1. General Provisions
The owner, operator and, for microtransactions, the seller of the game and the service available at https://kruczawieza.com is: Mateusz Włodarczyk, running a sole proprietorship under the name Keka Studio Mateusz Włodarczyk, address: ul. Portowa 31 lok. B/4, 47-205 Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland, NIP (tax ID): 7492116633, REGON: 525298125, contact e-mail: kruczawieza@gmail.com (the "Operator" / "Seller"). Publishing brand / studio: Keka Studio (kekastudio.pl).
"Krucza Wieża" is a free text-and-graphics role-playing game (RPG). It is accessed over the Internet: through the game website, the Android app on Google Play, the official Windows client and the Steam release (since 24 September 2026).
The game requires an active Internet connection. Character progress is saved on the Operator's server. Without a connection the Game cannot be used.
A user of the Game may be a natural person who is at least 16 years old. Persons under 16 may use the Game only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Every user who creates an account in the service (in any way listed in § 2(1)) declares that they have read these Terms and the Privacy Policy and accept them in full.
§ 2. Registration and Account
To use the game you need an account created in one of the ways offered in the Game: e-mail address and password (with a unique user name), a Google account or a Steam account. Creating an account in any of these ways means accepting these Terms and the Privacy Policy, which the User is informed about on the sign-in screen.
A game account is non-transferable. Selling, handing over, sharing or making an account available to third parties is forbidden.
The User must keep their password secret. The Operator is not liable for loss of login data caused by the User's negligence.
One user may have only one account in the game. Detection of multi-accounts (several accounts held by one person) may result in a permanent block (ban) of all linked accounts.
If members of one household play on the same computer or use the same IP address, they should report this to the Operator without delay (Discord ticket system or e-mail). Without such a report, accounts using the same IP may be treated as multi-accounts and blocked.
The Operator reserves the right to delete inactive accounts that have not been logged into for more than 12 months, or low-level accounts that have not been logged into for 4 weeks. Accounts of players who supported the game financially through microtransactions are not deleted.
The User may at any time delete their account in the game or request its deletion by e-mail (instructions: Delete your account), which means deletion of the personal data linked to it, subject to the legal obligations described in the Privacy Policy.
§ 3. Gameplay Rules and Conduct (Fair Play)
The User agrees to use the game fairly, in line with netiquette and the principles of social coexistence.
It is strictly forbidden to:
use bots, automated scripts, programs that assist gameplay, macros, auto-clickers or tools that simulate the player's presence;
exploit game errors (exploits / bugs) to gain an advantage; any errors found should be reported to the staff without delay;
insult other players, or use profanity, racist, xenophobic or generally offensive content in character names, descriptions, the game chat and on the Discord server;
spam, flood, troll, start quarrels or provoke other users;
impersonate other players or members of the game staff.
§ 4. Microtransactions and Virtual Currency
The game is free, but the User may voluntarily buy virtual currency ("PSS Tokens") to unlock cosmetic or helper conveniences in the game.
In the browser version and in the official Windows client (outside the stores) payments are handled by the external operator Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited). Card and transaction data are processed directly by the payment operator under the highest security standards.
In official releases from digital stores (e.g. Steam, Google Play) PSS Tokens can be bought only through that store's payment system, under that store's terms. In such a version of the Game card payment through Stripe may be unavailable in the store client.
The seller of PSS Tokens is Keka Studio Mateusz Włodarczyk, ul. Portowa 31 lok. B/4, 47-205 Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland, NIP 7492116633, REGON 525298125.
Prices of virtual currency packages are clearly stated in the game and include all applicable taxes.
Virtual currency (PSS Tokens) has no real value, cannot be refunded or exchanged for real money (cash) and can be used only inside the game.
A minor may buy PSS Tokens and other digital products only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, within the amounts they may dispose of on their own. A parent or guardian who did not consent to a purchase may write to kruczawieza@gmail.com; we handle each such case individually.
§ 5. Right of Withdrawal (Refunds)
Under Article 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to the consumer for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium, if performance began with the consumer's express consent before the end of the withdrawal period and after the trader informed the consumer that the right of withdrawal would be lost.
By buying PSS Tokens and other digital products in the Treasury (Skarbiec), the User requests their immediate delivery and acknowledges that at the moment of purchase (when the product is assigned to the game account) they lose the right to withdraw from the contract and to a refund.
The User gives the consent referred to in section 2 before each purchase by clicking "Kupuję i płacę" (Buy and pay) in the confirmation window. After the payment is booked, the User receives a purchase confirmation with the text of the consent at the e-mail address linked to the account.
§ 6. Sanctions, Appeals and Complaints
If these Terms are breached, the Operator may, depending on the seriousness of the breach, impose:
a warning (reprimand);
a temporary or permanent chat block;
a temporary account suspension (temporary ban);
a permanent account block (permanent ban);
removal of illegally obtained resources.
The User may appeal against a penalty to kruczawieza@gmail.com or through the official ticket system (ticket chamber) on Discord within 6 months of the day they learned of the penalty. Statements of reasons and appeals are governed by § 6a.
Complaints about problems with the game or non-delivery of purchased currency should be sent to the Operator's e-mail or through the Discord ticket system. The complaint should include the login, a description of the problem and, for purchases, proof of payment.
The Operator handles complaints and appeals within 14 days of receipt. The answer is sent to the e-mail address linked to the account or directly in the Discord ticket.
§ 6a. Illegal Content, Statement of Reasons and Point of Contact (DSA)
This section implements the obligations under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 of the European Parliament and of the Council on a Single Market for Digital Services (Digital Services Act, "DSA") for content that players publish in the Game (chat, character and Brotherhood names, profile descriptions, messages).
Point of contact. The single point of contact for Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services (Art. 11 DSA) and for users (Art. 12 DSA) is the e-mail address kruczawieza@gmail.com. We write and answer in Polish and English. Contact with us does not rely solely on automated tools: every message is read by a person.
Reporting illegal content (Art. 16 DSA). Anyone, including a person without a Game account, can report content they consider illegal:
in the Game: with the "Zgłoś wiadomość" (Report message) button under a chat message or "Zgłoś gracza" (Report player) in a player's profile;
by e-mail to kruczawieza@gmail.com (subject: "Content report").
The report should contain: an explanation of why the content is illegal; the exact location of the content (author's nickname, place in the Game, date and time, preferably a screenshot); the name and e-mail address of the reporter (not required for reports of offences against children); a statement that the reporter believes in good faith that the information in the report is accurate and complete. We confirm receipt of reports sent by e-mail, handle them diligently and without undue delay, and inform the reporter of the decision and the possibility of appeal, if they gave an e-mail address.
Moderation. Content is reviewed by members of the Game staff. Some restrictions work automatically: a filter of forbidden words in character and Brotherhood names, and protection against bots, attacks and multi-accounts (e.g. blocks of IP addresses linked to abuse). Decisions to block an account or the chat are taken by a person, and appeals are always handled by a person.
Statement of reasons (Art. 17 DSA). When we remove content or impose a penalty under § 6(1), we give the User a statement of reasons: what the penalty is and for how long, which facts and circumstances led to it, which provision of law or which point of these Terms was breached, whether the decision was automated, and how to appeal. The reason for an account block is shown in the message on a sign-in attempt; the full statement of reasons is sent to the account's e-mail address or at the User's request. We do not give a statement of reasons where the law or an order of an authority prohibits it.
Appeal and internal complaint-handling system (Art. 20 DSA). Any decision under section 4, and a decision to leave reported content in place, can be appealed free of charge by e-mail to kruczawieza@gmail.com within 6 months of the day the User or reporter learned of the decision. The appeal is handled by a person, where possible other than the one who took the decision, within 14 days. If the appeal is justified, we reverse the decision without delay (e.g. lift the block and restore the content).
Other routes. Regardless of the appeal, the User may use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (Art. 21 DSA), lodge a complaint with the Digital Services Coordinator (in Poland: the President of the Office of Electronic Communications, UKE) or bring the case to court.
Misuse (Art. 23 DSA). An account that frequently publishes manifestly illegal content may, after a prior warning, be suspended for a reasonable period. A person who frequently submits manifestly unfounded reports may, after a warning, have their reports left unprocessed for a period.
§ 7. Liability and Maintenance Breaks
The game is provided "as is". The Operator makes efforts for the game to run smoothly but does not guarantee its uninterrupted availability.
In the event of unforeseen technical errors, failures or a server rollback caused by software imperfections, the Operator will make efforts to fix the situation but does not guarantee automatic return of lost virtual items or resources.
The Operator reserves the right to maintenance breaks needed to maintain, update or repair the game servers.
The Operator reserves the right to shut down or close the game and the service completely. In such a case, funds previously paid for microtransactions are not refunded, subject to mandatory provisions of law.
§ 8. Final Provisions
The Operator may change these Terms for important reasons (e.g. changes in law, in the payment model or in game mechanics). Users will be informed of changes by an announcement in the game or on the Discord channel at least 7 days in advance.
Continuing to use the game after the changes take effect means accepting them.
Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the Polish Civil Code and other provisions of Polish law.
These Terms are available in Polish and in English. In case of any discrepancy between the language versions, the Polish version prevails.
